Early Life And Education
Swoopna Suman started exploring himself in his career at a very young age. He was around four years old when he started to have interest knowingly in singing. He was born in a medium class family where he listened to different music.
Although Swoopna has not officially learned music from any music school, he has developed a keen interest in music from the very childhood. He spent almost all of his childhood in the hostel for his school level education.
Swoopna Suman did schooling from Army School which was the best platform to explore himself. He gave his performance in many cultural and different singing programs in his school.
Swoopna Suman Career
Swoopna Suman started composing his own songs from the seven classes. He even moved to India to perform some kind of act. And later returned back to his country gaining some kind of experience in “Bhajans”. Learning Bhajans even enhanced his singing level and rhythm level. He stayed in School Hostel. There he got sufficient space to practice music. Along with music composition, he even started playing guitar.
Soon after the completion of his SLC level examination, he joined some Youtube Channel where he learned guitar on his own.
Suman has officially announced that he has never joined music classes. Rather what he is today is all because of Youtube. With hard work and dedication, he started to record his first song with Karma Records from the year 2014 to 2016. It was the year 2001 AD when he was first awarded as the singer of the year in his school Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya. Similarly, he was even titled artist of the Month by Times FM.
Till the date, Swoopna Suman has produced four original compositions and around eight cover songs. Swoopna has a unique voice and a unique genre in music. Almost all of his songs are of unique nature and genre. Although Suman Thapa is his real name, his fans mostly know him by the name Swoopna. ‘Swoopna’ means to sleep in Nepali.
